Your tour begins with a visit to Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most famous temple and one of the largest religious monuments in the world. Your German-speaking guide will explain the history, fascinating bas-reliefs, architecture, and religious significance of the temple.
Next, travel to Angkor Thom, the former royal city of the Khmer Empire. Explore the impressive Bayon Temple, famous for its mysterious giant stone faces.
Continue to Baphuon, an impressive temple-mountain located in the heart of Angkor Thom. Then discover the Terrace of the Elephants, which was once used by Khmer kings for royal ceremonies and public events.
You will also see the Ancient Royal Palace and learn about the lives of the Khmer kings and the history of the royal city.
Afterward, visit Ta Prohm, one of Angkor’s most famous temples. Enormous tree roots grow over the ancient stone walls, creating a unique and atmospheric setting.
The tour ends with a visit to Banteay Kdei, a peaceful temple known for its beautiful galleries, carvings, and quiet atmosphere.

Temple Dress Code: : To enter the Angkor temples, shoulders and knees must be covered. Light trousers and a loose-fitting shirt are recommended. Scarves are available at the entrance, but we suggest bringing your own.
Early Departures: : Days 2 and 4 include a very early departure, around 4:30 AM, to enjoy the best visiting times, including sunrise. Your guide will organize the itinerary to provide a pleasant experience at a comfortable pace.
Best Time to Visit: : The ideal period to visit Angkor is from November to April, during the dry season. The tour is available year-round. During the rainy season (May to October), the temples are greener and there are generally fewer visitors.
